Super Comp Bior
These outstanding new cartridges from trusted British manufacturer, Lyalvale Express, are the latest addition to the staggeringly successful Super Comp range. Super Comp cartridges have accounted for over 20 Championship titles across the various disciplines, including the Perazzi Classic DTL, English Open Helice, Beretta World Sporting and World ABT.
The Bior wad – the cartridge’s namesake – opens the shot pattern up quickly, and the more progressive burning powder used, when compared to the standard Super Comp cartridges, dissipates recoil and allows for much faster second barrel shots.
The new cartridge comes loaded with ‘Super Tempered Shot’, the same shot found in Express’s flagship Supreme range. It comes in one pellet size (8 ½) to provide the highest standard in uniform shot and pellet distribution, and although designed for closer range targets, will easily tackle those taken out past 35m.

With its perfectly maintained gravel paths winding through shaded, bluebell strewn woodland, Atkin Grant & Lang boasts a great variety of stands and targets in an exceptionally picturesque setting. Specialising in Sporting targets, the ground features 16 smart, well-built wooden stands including elevated shooting platforms, high towers, and even a grouse butt if you fancy trying your hand at some exciting simulated game targets.
The ground caters for all levels of experience with a purpose-built teaching area for novices, and offers a wide range of tuition and membership packages. The Promatic Claymate system means you can manage your own round and shoot unaccompanied thanks to a three-second delay, allowing you time to ready yourself for the target after pressing the button. The targets are regularly freshened up, meaning regular visitors will never get bored and can continue to challenge and improve their shooting.
